Sardinia, the cycle of meetings with stakeholders starts

Cleaning services and interior furnishings were the topics addressed in the first two workshops organized by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia to promote the most common definition of operational tools and technical methods for implementing green public procurement. On January 16, in fact, the cycle of meetings with project stakeholders took place at the Cagliari office of the Environmental Defense Council: technical representatives of the main public administrations of the territory called to discuss real tender and specification prototypes. Almost 40 people participated in the first two appointments, representing local authorities, healthcare companies, universities, agencies and instrumental institutions of the Region. Conceived with a theoretical and practical approach, the workshops were opened by representatives of the Environmental Sustainability Service and information systems of the Region, providing an introduction on the objectives of GPPbest and Green Public Procurement, with an illustration of the main regulatory references and reference CAM. The participants were then divided into groups and contributed to the revision of the tender documentation in a participatory mode, led by professional technical support facilitators of the project. Finally, the GPP desk service was tested in real time, contacted by the participants by telephone for further information on the results obtained through the comparison. The cycle will end on February 28 and foresees another eleven appointments, three of which will be dedicated to comparison among providers.
